Who else processes your data, region by region
A sub-processor is a company that processes your organisation’s data for us. Dot’s are Amazon Web Services and MongoDB Atlas, which host and store everything in the region you chose, Soniox and AssemblyAI for transcription, Anthropic and OpenAI for the AI models, and Stripe for billing. Where each one does its work depends on your region, and the table says where.

Each region uses one of the two transcription services: Soniox by default in the UK and EU regions, and AssemblyAI in the US region.
Dot’s emails, such as sign-in links, invitations and the minutes, are sent through one email service per region: Amazon SES, Microsoft 365, Resend or SendGrid. It sees the recipients’ addresses and what the email says. To know which one your region uses, ask at the address below.
Who is not on this list, and why
Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet host your meetings under your own agreement with them. Dot does not send them anything they did not already have, so they are not our sub-processors.
Google Analytics and Cloudflare Turnstile run on this website, not in the product, and only for visitors to hidot.ai. We decide what they are used for, so they are described on the cookie policy and the privacy page instead.

The date at the top says when this list was last checked against the product. For the data processing agreement, or a question about any company here, write to support@hidot.ai and say which region you are in.
Questions
Who are Dot’s sub-processors?
Amazon Web Services (hosting and keys), MongoDB Atlas (the database), Soniox and AssemblyAI (transcription), Anthropic and OpenAI (the AI models, with Anthropic also for web lookups where an organisation turns them on) and Stripe (billing), plus the email service that sends Dot’s emails. The hosting and database are in the region the organisation chose.
Are Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet sub-processors?
No. They host the meeting itself, under the organisation’s own agreement with them. Dot does not send them anything they did not already have.
Do the sub-processors differ between regions?
Where they process does. Hosting and the database are in London, Frankfurt or Northern Virginia. Transcription is at the services’ European endpoints for the UK and EU regions and in the United States for the US region. The AI models, from Anthropic and OpenAI, are reached in the United States for every region.
Does Stripe see meeting content?
No. Stripe handles subscriptions and payments, and sees billing contacts and payment details only.
